2. La "maladie de Zoon" est une inflammation du gland qui produit des tâches roses ou rouges.
3. Argot du Sud des USA : "to zoon", onomatopée signifiant : "bourdonnement".
4. En néerlandais, "zoon" veut dire "fils".

1. "Zôon" means "animal" in ancient greek. This root sparked off the words "zoology", "zodiac", "zoo". According to Aristoteles, human beings are political animal, "zôon politikon".
2. "Zoon syndrome" is an acute glans inflammation giving pink and red stains.
3. Chiefly southern US slang: "to zoon", onomatopoeia which means : "To fly with a humming or buzzing sound".
4. "Zoon" is Dutch word for "son".
